Shanxi Province - China

Working in conjunction with Shanxi Coal and Syndicatum, a leading specialist developer of climate change projects, the SENTRUM system is being installed and tested in an operational coal mine. The project is registered with the UNFCCC Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), and will generate revenues through carbon credits, as well as through electricity production.

Once testing is completed, it is proposed to install SENTRUM across other mines in the Shanxi province for further CDM, gas-to-energy and safety monitoring applications.
